My non k9 dog will just die. Put them on him, he kinda keeled over and was dead. Asked if he wanted to go outside- usually he’ll jump and bark and twirl and run around, race to the front door… I got nothing. Asked if he wanted a treat, even went towards the kitchen to get said treat- not even a tail wag. Still just on his back, dead. Poor old pup.
I took them off and now, we just go through the back patio during the winter/snow. If we go through the front, the condo salts the sidewalks, and it hurts him. It’s a journey to get to the non- salted sidewalk area but we do it to avoid the salt… and the booties. Lol Definitely something we need to work on though.
