
A young womans half-naked body has been found at St Kilda Botanical Gardens but the death is not being treated as suspicious. Victoria Police swarmed the inner-city gardens after the grim discovery was made just before 7am on Tuesday.
The Herald Sun reports the woman’s body was underneath a tree at the Blessington Street side of the park.
A soccer ball was found nearby.
The gardens were closed to the public as police investigated.
The exact circumstances of the woman’s death are not yet known.
A Victoria Police spokesman confirmed the death was not being treated as suspicious.
