Multivitamins are among items being recalled this over week, after several retailers issued warnings over products that could pose food poisoning or allergy risks.
Lidl, Asda, Waitrose and Boots have warned against supplements, frozen chicken and even pasta after it emerged some ingredients were not correctly listed on their labels.
The UK’s Food Standards Agency – which oversees recalls – said some of the products contain ingredients that are not mentioned on the label, while others could contain bacteria linked to food poisoning.
When a product is recalled, for any reason, the Food Standards Agency shares details on what you should do if you have bought the item, as well as detailed information on why the product is being pulled from shelves.
It said anyone with any of the items should visit their nearest supermarket or high street outlet for a full refund or exchange.
