Liverpool are ready to seal the permanent signing of Ozan Kabak in the coming weeks ahead, according to an exclusive report from 90Min.
90Min claim that the Reds will trigger their £18m option to land the young Turkish defender, who is said to have ‘delighted’ Jurgen Klopp with his performances of late.
Kabak arrived in January and after a slow start, has established himself in the heart of the Liverpool defence. His presence and performances have allowed Fabinho to move back into the midfield, which has been a huge boost for the Reds.

Liverpool are still said to be in the mix for another new defender but want to sign Kabak given the option negotiated in January to make his deal permanent for what looks like a bargain £18m.
It means the Reds will have Kabak, Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk, and Joel Matip all available as central defensive options next season, in addition to the potential signing of Ibrahima Konate.
TBR View: Smart move from Liverpool, Kabak has easily done enough
At first, it looked like Kabak might be a bit of a fish out of water in the Reds defence. But since that initial few games, he has grown in stature and looks an assured centre-half.
At just £18m, he’s a bargain in the modern game and Liverpool are smart to make their move here.
It’s all about next season now for Klopp’s men and landing Kabak is an important piece of the jigsaw if they plan to come back at Manchester City during the 21/22 campaign.
