Prince Harry has reportedly spoken to brother William on the phone since landing in the UK – and Kate Middleton is set to act as “peacekeeper” between them at the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral.
The brothers, who have had a difficult relationship in the last two years, will not see each other in person until Saturday, as Harry is required to isolate.
But insiders say they are putting their differences aside in order to support the Queen following their grandfather’s death.
A royal source said: William and Harry have managed to speak on the phone. They very much agree that this week is absolutely about supporting the Queen, the rest of the family and commemorating the life and legacy of their grandfather.
Kate is said to be “hopeful of a resolution”, The Telegraph reports, as the family puts on a united front.
