A flight attendant can be heard yelling Brace! and Stay down! on video footage of a QantasLink flight making an emergency landing at Brisbane Airport.
Pilots on flight QF242 from Newcastle told cabin crew of a potential issue with the landing gear as the plane approached Brisbane on Thursday morning.
As a result of that, they conducted a priority landing, an airline spokesperson said, adding this was standard procedure for incidents of this nature.
Qantas flight QF2420 landed at Brisbane Airport this morning following a “potential issue with the landing gear”.
An aircraft which has declared an emergency is given priority over other planes to land at an airport.

The plane landed safely and engineers were inspecting it to determine the cause of the incident, the spokesperson said.
A video shared to social media shows the plane coming in to land at the airport.
A flight attendant can be heard repeating the word Brace! three times before shouting Stay down! Stay down! Stay Down!
No one was injured in the incident, but the plane had to be towed to the terminal.
