
ICC WTC Finals – Virat Kohli vs Ajinkya Rahanes Teams: Indias wicket keeper batsman Rishabh Pant starred on the first day of 4-day intra-squad practice match between Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahanes team. Though no official scoring of the game is available – but in the video posted by BCCI, Pant is seen raising his bat at the end of the first day’s play, giving enough indication that he had a good time while batting.

ICC WTC Finals – Virat Kohli vs Ajinkya Rahanes Teams: The 4-day practice match is the main preparation for Kohlis men who havent played any cricket for the last one month after the IPL 2021 was suspended on May 4.
The 4 day intra-squad match is a closed-door affair. It comes just two days after Team India began practice in Southampton.

It will also give the team a much-needed competitive feel before all the important ICC WTC Final against Williamson & Co who currently are busy playing in a test series against the hosts England.

It is obvious that with two tests under belt, Kiwis will be completely acclimatize to the English conditions. This is the reason the team management decided to play the INTRA-SQUAD game to simulate the match conditions.
