2021 hasn’t been easy or great for actor Rajesh Khattar. First, he was hospitalised after testing COVID-19 positive. Around the same time, he lost his dear father who had suffered a cardiac arrest. Finally, reports of his bankruptcy spread like wildfire everywhere after his actress wife Vandana Sajnani spoke of their financial situation to the media. Since the reports started surfacing, the actor has been drowning in phone calls with people inquiring about his financial woes. Rajesh, speaking to Etimes said, ‘I have been fending calls from friends who have been asking me whether I have hit a rough patch financially. Initially, I was amused by these reports, but they soon started affecting me.’ It all began when Vandana, in an interview, said that they have exhausted their savings in the past two years owing to her frequent hospitalisation and the lockdown situation.
