Fathers Day is celebrated every third Sunday in June. It is a special day to show our love and appreciation for our fathers. Whether one calls him ayah, daddy or papa, he is someone many children adore and look up to. Here are the inspiring messages from Starchild readers.

Debria Preethi Jeyarajah, 10, adores her father because he is loving, caring and forgiving. He plays ball, board games and card games with me, and I get to curl up with him to watch movies at night. He helps to clean my fish tank too. Even though Daddy works in Kuala Lumpur, he makes it a point to video call me daily. My dad is very special to me.
