There are still two months left to go in this very long summer transfer window, leaving plenty of time for clubs to land their major targets.
The argument is that surely it is better to get these players in for pre-season and be able to start preparation with their new clubs? Whilst I agree this is beneficial, it isnt the be all and end all.
Chelsea in particular are looking to pull off some pretty massive transfers this summer, so of course these deals are never going to be easy.
It doesnt appear that Chelsea have made any official offers for Dortmund striker Erling Haaland as of yet, but they are certainly considering the move right now.
