PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 5,586 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday (June 27), bringing the cumulative total to 734,048.
In the same 24-hour period, there were 60 fatalities, bringing the death toll to 4,944.
There were also 4,777 recoveries, which means 667,709 have recovered from the disease nationwide.
There are still 886 patients in intensive care units, with 446 requiring ventilation support.
Furthermore, Selangor recorded the highest number of cases at 2,212, followed by Kuala Lumpur (628) and Sarawak (513).
