The Surface Pro 7 is one of our favorite laptop-tablet hybrids (8/10, WIRED Recommends). There are cheaper Surfaces, but this is a good price on the best hybrid model. It comes with a keyboard and sleeve. Be sure to grab the pen if you want to use tablet mode for notes or drawing.

The Surface Laptop is a premium piece of Windows hardware (7/10, WIRED Review). The all-aluminum construction makes for a lightweight machine, and the 3:2 ratio screen is wider than normal, giving you extra room for working on documents side by side. We tested the 15-inch model, and this sale is for the 13-inch, but aside from size they’re very similar. Be sure to check every colorthere are better deals on some colors than others.

The Surface Book is a nice hybrid if you want a powerful tablet and a powerful laptop (7/10, WIRED Review). You make some compromises to get that tablet, but it has a great keyboard, an excellent screen, and a solid trackpad. The more expensive configurations with discrete graphics offer plenty of power for design, gaming, and even video editing.

It’s a strange time to buy a Mac. The new Apple-designed M1 chips just launched, which bring a host of changes to the MacOS platform. Read our review for details. Intel-based Macs make up the bulk of the MacBook deals you’ll see this weekend. They’re still a good buy, but we have reservations about how long Apple will support them going forward.
