Motorola which had recently launched the Moto G10 and Moto G30 smartphones are speculated to be working on the launch of the upcoming Moto G100 handset which is expected to be launched next week as a global version of the Motorola Edge S.
However, according to XDA-Developers, another model is in the lineup that could be launched soon with some flagship features. The mid-range Moto G60 has impressive specifications. A recent report had revealed the upcoming G60 Motorola smartphone with the codename Hanoip.
The Moto G60 has a 6.78-inch display with a Full HD + resolution and a frame refresh rate of 120 Hz. This would match the recently launched Samsung Galaxy A52 5G, although with an expected Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G chipset, so it is unlikely that the G60 will support 5G.
It is also likely to have an embedded 32-megapixel front camera and a triple rear camera setup using the Samsung ISOCELL HM2 108-megapixel sensor. The other two sensors are OmniVision OV16A1Q and OV02B1b with a resolution of 16 and 2 megapixels, respectively. The G60 will run on Android 11. It will have two versions: 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM with 128 GB internal memory.
The official launch date of Moto G60 is still unknown, but it is not expected to be too far off as the smartphone has already been certified by both the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the Indian regulator (Bureau of Indian Standards, BIS).
