Ashley Cain shared a heartbreaking update his baby daughter Azaylia’s leukaemia fight on Thursday night.
Fans had expressed concern after a number of days went by with no update from the former Ex On The Beach star.
And on Thursday, the reality star admitted doctors had confirmed his worst fears and broke the news his baby may have just days to live after more tumours were discovered.
In a ten-minute video clip, the devastated father took to Instagram to share the news with fans: “So last week we had the bone marrow test and the lumbar puncture and bloods taken to send to Singapore in the hope that they could create therapy to save Azaylia’s life” he began.
“Then we had to have a CT scan on her head and the results came back the next day to say she’s got two very big tumours on her brain.

“They also said that the chemotherapy that is usually given to treat leukaemia in the spine or the brain will not be available because she has too much pressure with these tumours.
“If they tried to go through the spinal tap it would kill her. At that point, our world came down.
“Consultants said that they think she’s only got one, two days to live, it could even be that night.”

Ashley and Azaylia’s mum, girlfriend Safiyya Vorajee, took the baby home and made the decision to take her off pain medication, and tragically the couple were told doctors in Singapore were unable to offer treatment as Azaylia’s disease is too rare, crushing their final hope.
Heartbroken, he continued: “For the last part of her life I just want to take her home. See her like a baby and give her the best rest of her life ever.”

The couple had raised more than £1.5 million to allow Azaylia to receive specialist treatment, at the time a post on the page explained: “The ONLY option to save Azaylia’s life is to fly to Singapore for CAR-T therapy plus a haplo transplant, for a minimum period of 1 year.
“Because of the aggressiveness of Azaylia’s disease, we dont have time on our side and we may have to fly out within a matter of weeks.

“This treatment and associated expenses will be in excess of 1 million pounds with an initial deposit of £500,000 just to be accepted into the hospital and onto the program.
“Azaylia is such a strong little girl who has fought through every near impossible battle so far and she has done it all with love in her heart and a smile on her face!”
Azaylia was diagnosed with a rare form of leukaemia two months after her August birth and has been receiving treatment at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
