Following England’s quarter-final triumph over Ukraine on Saturday, all eyes will now start to turn to the semi-final. The Three Lions will be back at Wembley on Wednesday to compete in the final four of Euro 2020 where they will come up against Denmark.
Manchester United’sLuke Shaw starred in the 4-0 thumping of Ukraine and impending arrival Jadon Sancho discussed his relationship with the left-back, as well as more of his soon-to-be club teammates.
“Yeah, Luke [Shaw] is a great lad. I always have a good relationship with him, Marcus [Rashford] and Harry [Maguire] so its going to be fun [at United],” he told talkSPORT.
Likewise, Shaw was also full of praise for Sancho for the winger’s fine display in Rome.
“Brilliant. I said to him after the game thats a big performance,” said Shaw. “He hasnt had too much game time, hes obviously been, not disappointed but wanting to play like everyone else. Hes kept his head down, hes kept working hard and I feel like tonight he took his chance.”
Elsewhere, Raphael Varane has reportedly ‘given his word’ that he wants to join United this summer.
