Aston Villa fans have told Chelsea they are “having a laugh” over a £50m demand for striker Tammy Abraham.
Reports last night claimed the Blues are willing to offer the forward to Borussia Dortmund as a makeweight in a deal to land Erling Haaland.
Blues owner Roman Abramovich is willing to significantly back Thomas Tuchel in the transfer market this summer with Haaland and Euro 2020 star Federico Chiesa on their hitlist.
And they are eager to pull off a stunning coup by landing Haaland who is considered one of the most feared strikers in European football along with PSG star Kylian Mbappe.
Villa launch new kit and training range for the 2021/22 season
Aston Villa have today released their new home shirt, along with accompanying training range, for the upcoming 21/22 season.
The official Villa website describes it as a ‘sublimate design’ that is built around the traditional claret and blue colours of the club.

To help make the deal happen, Chelsea are willing to throw Abraham in as part of the deal with the forward having been deemed surplus to requirements.
It is believed that Chelsea value Abraham at £50m and that has stunned Villa fans who had hoped he would be making his way to B6 this summer to help add strength in depth to their attack.
The Fabled Sage: “What you need to ask yourself is this, are Villa desperate for a striker? No, so although Tammy may be valued at 50 million by Chelsea he may not be worth that much to Villa and the club will only pay what they see as fair value, we have the cash to look elsewhere if need be.”
Andy Black: “In other words they need to inflate his price as much as possible to limit the cash they need to offer to get Haaland.”
Jack Castleton: “50 million never even played half the season!”
Gav: “VILLAVJHDVYUAYUDVAUKYS = £30m discount code.”
Larterlia: “£50m they are having a laugh. £15-25m tops!”
Abraham has scored 30 goals in all competitions for Chelsea these past two campaigns since returning from Villa, most of them coming under Frank Lampard, but hes found opportunities to impress hard to come by under new boss Tuchel.
Villa, meanwhile, relied heavily on the form and fitness of Ollie Watkins last term, but they do have Wesley Moraes back from a long-term injury and Dean Smith will be hoping that, with a full pre-season under his belt, the Brazilian can get back to where he was 18 months ago prior to that setback at Turf Moor.
Keinan Davis, who scored his first Premier League goal towards the end of last season, is also an option to Smith for the number nine role.
